THERESA ROBBINS DUDECK, Ph.D., is an applied improvisation trainer, facilitator, speaker and author. Her expertise is in Keith Johnstone’s Impro System as well as in acting, directing, voice, and various applied theatre techniques.
As Johnstone’s biographer and Literary Executor, Theresa continues to organize, document, and preserve his archive for future scholarship. Theresa is also the co-director/co-founder of the Global Improvisation Initiative (GII) which just had its inaugural symposium in Southern California.
Theresa’s essay, “Improvisation for Group Creativity and Affiliative Leadership,” was just published as the opening chapter in Pedagogia das Artes Cênicas: criatividade e criação (Vol. 2), edited by Mariana Muniz. Theresa is now co-editing a collection of case studies on applied improvisation to be published in early 2018.
